love??

Hello everybody. I decided to write a little about a magnifying theme, Love. There are many expressions to define it, Socrates, Freud and Platon, they are the beginners of philosophy. They could said all the definitions according to their life experiences but here I have a nice story to share with you that I read recently…… this is Aristophanes and he explains the origin of “love”

Aristophanes says that a primitive men had a round figure, his back and masculine anatomy looks like a circle, four arms, four legs, two physiognomy in a circle neck and very very similar, one head, two ears, two organs of each one, and all in the same proportion. A primitive man used to be a straight walk, they don’t worry about the way to take.. they take a decision as they wish

When they wanted to walk quickly they used to support them body over the eight limbs, in that way they advanced as quickly as they want with circle movements (floating foot).

In that ages the stranger creatures were become rebels and never followed the rules, they dared to climb the sky. Immediately Aristophanes though about what to do to correct the creature’s behavior, finally Zeus says that he would found the solution to low the creature’s power, by dividing them in two bodies. When the real body had been divided every half willing to found its other half, when that happening they give a hug each other and they wouldn’t want to separate any second, they couldn´t care less other things.

Little by little those strange creatures became in ourselves, now we are doing the same… We are looking for complete ourselves by searching a half and to be only one.

I don’t know if this is a real story but I really liked, its a kind of example about the enigma “how the love arise” ? If you have any opinion or story to share me, I would like
to know.
